Hey guys. I've been watching the video a few times and I have some comments and ~theories~ First of all, have you noticed how much stuff gets knocked down in this video? There's the camera falling over and then trophies getting knocked over. (this gif is in a spoiler bc it will make you dizzy ) Then you've got the bag throwing and eunha looking like she's going to fall over (not really but because of the camera angle) oh no, did Yerin get knocked over? Yerin fell on the skating rink too And again, Yerin is having issues keeping balanced - this time because of a giant stuffed bear! And finally of course, the moment when Yerin comes in and knocks the rest of them over. Also interesting is that Yerin is wearing a different color than the rest of the girls. Even in the final pose, the girls are moving around a little and seem a little off balance, visually. Yuju and Umji are in asymmetrical poses Now, what does this tell us about what to expect from the MV? Well, think about it this way. During the School Trilogy, they were known for extreme precision in their dancing. Their songs were always balanced and harmonious. They usually performed in perfect synchronization and wore matching uniforms. I think that in LOL they will try to show us another side of Gfriend, one that is more off-beat, more improvisational, more personal, and more imperfect. Maybe the dance will be more goofy and personalized, like Mansae by Seventeen. Maybe the sound will be less smooth and sweet more abrupt and dynamic, like I Got A Boy by SNSD, Windy Day by Oh My Girl, or Mamamoo's Taller Than You. I also think this shows that Yerin will really come to the forefront in this song and MV. She is the one who is the most "off balance" and who not only falls over herself, but knocks over the rest of the group as well. This is not to say that the video will make her look bad, of course, or that I think she is more likely to be making mistakes than any other member. This is just the storyline that is coming across. Like I said before, I think this video will be a celebration of imperfection and trial and error, and Yerin will really personify that I think. Ok, those are my theories. Thoughts? anyone else want to make some educated guesses?
